InFUSE has taught me patience, kindness, determination and so much more
These past two weeks have been one of the best experiences of my life. This summer camp has given me so many fun and educational opportunities, things that you wouldn’t be able to find anywhere else. We did so many fun activities with our special students, and we learned so many life skills and traits that will help us succeed in the future. We did activities ranging from cooking our very own quesadillas, to making betta fish tanks and planting succulents. We also learnt business techniques when we were getting ready for our fundraiser for the San Jose Burn Foundation. We have worked so hard for an amazing cause, and we had so much fun doing it. Not only are we doing something great for our community, but we are also building teamwork skills with the Infuse Team. I feel that I have grown so much during this camp, and I’ve made valuable friendships that could last a lifetime. When I first walked in I was a bit nervous to meet new people but it turned out to be something I enjoyed and looking forward to go everyday. This team has almost become like a family. In my opinion Working and spending time with the special-ed kids has taught me patience, kindness, determination, and so much more. I am so thankful for this opportunity.
